I was fortunate to get the chance to work on this license, as it was one of the biggest things to hit in 1999. I was also fortunate enough to be able to work directly with the licensor on this project. I had made a couple of trips to Lucas's Skywalker Ranch to deal with their Licensing Dept. and work, first hand, through the approval process. It was a very "educational" process. This was not by far the first license assignment that I have had, but it was the first time that the walls of middle-men were broken and I represented not only my work but Rubies as well. That was one of most gratifying parts of this experience.
